CONROE, TX - A Houston family is suing a Conroe resort after their son was shot in the head by an arrow. The lawsuit says Piney Shores Resort was "negligent in its design, oversight and operation of its archery range."

Londen Chavez, 7, was at the resort with his family in June 2014 celebrating his birthday. He was picking up arrows from the target area of the archery range when his 12-year-old brother fired an arrow that hit Londen in the head.

"He is unable to walk or ambulate, move his left leg or left arm. He has significant vision loss to the left side of his body," said Randal Sorrels, the family's attorney.

The lawsuit says none of the resort's employees were supervising the archery range and that the range's design is dangerous.
