Two shootings in Philadelphia wound 17 people, including children

PHILADELPHIA, PA – What started off as a quiet day on a Philadelphia street corner quickly turned into a scene of panic as mothers grabbed their children and ran for their lives.

Security video shows people scattering, and then one man falls, wounded by a shotgun blast. Police say four adults, a couple of ten-year-olds, and a three-year-old were hit.

Police recovered the shotgun, but didn’t catch the gunman.

And on Saturday, another shooting in Philly.

Ten people hurt this time when someone fired into a block party.
