HOUSTON, TX - The Supreme Court ruling to legalize same-sex marriage, sent cheers from Washington all the way down to Houston. Dr. Ann Robison, executive director of the Montrose Center says, "We're very pleased that the Supreme Court came out this morning in favor of marriage equality."

The pride parade might be this weekend, but Houston's LGBT community is already lining up downtown, trying to get their marriage licenses. But for some, those wedding plans were put on hold. After a delay, at 3pm, Harris County started handing out marriage licenses.
