HOUSTON, TX - Should we get rid of the internet before the internet gets rid of us?   Selfie-mania is driving us crazy, cyber-bullying is on the rise, revenge porn is a nasty habit, our credit cards are always a target, and privacy… wait, what was that?

It looks like foreign hackers have not only stolen the information of millions of American public employees but their fingerprints too.  And speaking of touching, not long ago, a hacker breached the website AdultFriendFinder just because, and published naked pictures of all sort of random people, thus destroying their lives and careers.

People say the benefits of the internet outweigh the risks.  Perhaps.  Or perhaps we're walking like sheep to the slaughter under the impression that everything is fine.  Either way, that's a debate worth a thousand tweets.
