BREVARD COUNTY, FL- Curtis Jones was just 12 years old when he was arrested and convicted of second degree murder in Orlando, Florida back in 1999. Jones, along with his then 13-year-old sister Catherine, made history as the youngest children to be tried as adults for murder.

The siblings pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the killing of their father's girlfriend. The two also reportedly planned to kill their father and another male relative, who they say had sexually abused them.

Apparently, they only followed through with their dad's girlfriend because they were alone with her first.

The siblings will be on probation for the rest of their lives. Interestingly enough, while in prison, Curtis became an ordained minister, and Catherine married a pen pal. She's set to be released on Saturday.
