Busted Sugar Land bank robber linked to three other hits

SUGAR LAND, TX – A quick-thinking employee helped catch a bank robber before he even made it off the property.

Fort Bend County deputies arrested Rodney Porter on Saturday after he allegedly walked in the Capital One Bank on Highway 6, threatened employees and customers, and demanded money. One of the employees tipped off deputies, who busted Porter as he walked out of the bank, money in hand.

Investigators ended up tying him to three other bank robberies in our area.
