When you fly, are you the type who chats with the other passengers in your aisle?

A new app for your smartphone is helping people socialize at 30,000 feet and maybe even a whole lot more. It's called MileHi and it lets travelers find and track each other using their flight number and also chat in private or group forums.

Despite the connotation to "the mile high club," a dubious badge of distinction bestowed upon people who have hooked up on airplanes, the app's founder insists it's not a "tinder for the sky." Richard Lloyd says, "the idea of the app was really around business or networking, not dating."

MileHi has done pretty well in the first two weeks since it's launch, already clocking more than 3,000 downloads.

Time will tell if the app works better for business or pleasure.
