HOUSTON - Texas Values, along with pro-life leaders, gathered at the "Women Betrayed Rally" on the southeast side of Houston in the wake of two controversial Planned Parenthood videos that surfaced.

The videos were released by the Center for Medical Progress, an anti-abortion group that claims the videos show planned parenthood execs talking about the harvesting and sale of fetus organs.

In response to those claims, Planned Parenthood issued a statement saying in part, "Recently, anti-abortion activists launched a campaign against planned parenthood to try to damage our name and reputation. These attacks claimed that Planned Parenthood profits from legal fetal tissue donation. These claims are simply not true."

Pro-life advocates in the Bayou City and across the country are hoping to raise awareness about Planned Parenthood's alleged practices and are pushing for taxpayer dollars to be stripped from the organization.
