HOUSTON, TX – Police are looking for clues in the overnight murder of a man in southwest Houston.

Officers say neighbors in the area called 911 around 9:30 p.m. Thursday after the victim, still behind the wheel of his car, rolled into a yard. Police say the suspects drove up in a silver- or tan-colored truck, fired four to seven shots at the driver’s side of the victim’s car, then sped off.

“It appears that his vehicle just rolled forward and ended up in the lawn of a vacant house,” said Officer Tom Ferguson.

Officers are still looking for witnesses. If you have any information about the shooting, call HPD.
