BARI, Italy - They say so many good things about drinking coffee, but everything in moderation.  A new study suggests that increased coffee intake can hurt your brain and put you at risk of developing Alzheimer's, dementia and memory loss.

Researchers from the University of Bari Aldo Moro studied 1,445 individuals between the ages of 64 and 84.  Apparently, those used to drinking one or two cups of coffee per day were in better cognitive shape than those who never drank it.  But those who changed their habits and increased the amount of coffee… Mamma mia!  That's when their minds started to play tricks on them.

So, now you know: coffee can help you stay awake, have wonderful conversations, get to know someone new, and even mask a hangover.  Not bad for something so legal!
