Jessica Alba's Honest company is under fire, for of all things, sunscreen. Numerous users posted pictures of major sunburns after using the lotion.
The question, is the sunscreen ineffective, or the consumers too dense to use it as instructed.

Dr. Esta Kronberg, a Houston Dermatologist, explained, "Are they putting it on properly? Are they putting it 30 minutes before they go outside? So often people wait unitl they get to the pool, they get to the ocean, they put everything out they spread it out, then they put their sunscreen on."

All sunscreens are FDA-tested.

"Should be good, the sunscreen should at least be effective," added Dr. Kronberg.

A sentiment shared by the Honest company.

Surprisingly, Consumer Reports says, Target and Walmart brand sunscreens earned the highest scores, while some of the pricier brands out there fall short of expectations.

Important to remember, "Just wear your sunscreen, put it on 30 minutes before you go out, that's what people don't do," according to Dr. Kronberg.

Whichever brand you choose to use, just follow the directions so you don't get burned.

The Honest company did subit this statement in regards to their product:
