MEMPHIS, TN - He may very well be the most wanted man in the south. Law enforcement agencies are searching high and low for 29-year-old Tremain Wilbourn, the man accused of killing a Memphis cop during a traffic stop over the weekend.
Officer Sean Bolton was shot and killed when police say he interrupted a drug deal between the suspect and another man. Bolton was shot several times and later died at a hospital. Wilbourn fled the scene.
Police say the second man who was inside the car when Bolton was shot turned himself in and was released, no charges were filed against him. The U.S. Marshall's Office is putting up a $10,000 reward for any information that leads to Wilbourn's arrest.
