NEW YORK - Elizabeth Enderli, a 31-year-old mother from Baytown has a concealed carry permit from the Lone Star State, but she took two semi-automatic handguns with her to Ground Zero in New York and that was a no-no.

Enderli told a World Trade Center Officer that she had two loaded firearms in her backpack. So, naturally the officer targeted her bag to be searched and found a Pavona 9mm semi-automatic pistol and a Taurus .380 semi-automatic pistol, both loaded.

Enderli was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to the criminal complaint. She has to go back to the Big Apple for an August 28 court appearance.
