MANSFIELD, OH - Ohio corrections officials are scratching their heads trying to figure out how a package full of drugs was dropped in a prison yard without being noticed by guards. The drug drop happened at the Mansfield Correctional Institution and the goodie bag was loaded.
There were two-ounces of marijuana, five-ounces of tobacco, and enough heroin to do at least 140 hits was also stuffed inside. A huge fight broke out over the package and a bunch of prisoners ended up in solitary confinement, without any weed to ease the loneliness.
This isn’t the first time drones have been spotted hovering around Ohio prisons. The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections says they are looking into the issue.
