ST. PETERSBURG, FL - As a rule, there are a couple of things you probably shouldn't say to police. Tops on that list might be, "Get out of the car and give me the keys." Carjacking officers isn't a particularly bright idea, but Dominique Albert doesn't exactly seem like the brightest of bulbs.

The 27-year-old allegedly approached the unmarked St. Petersburg, Florida patrol car, opened the passenger door and pulled out a steak knife. The two detectives inside both yelled "Police!" and one pulled out his gun. At that point, investigators say Albert dropped the knife and tried to bolt, but the detectives caught him.

Albert now faces several charges, including carjacking and assault of a law enforcement officer, and he's earned the distinction of our Dumbass of the Day.
