SPRING, TX - Something is in the air at Spring Fire Station 75. The Fire Department has been fighting mold since last October. Only in this case, the mold won.

The station has now been deemed uninhabitable and closed down. So, it`s in with the new and out with the mold. Deputy Chief Shannon Stryk says plans are being finalized to demolish the current property and build a new one right next door.

SFD ensures there will be no interruption to service in the area, and fire fighters will still be able to use the truck and equipment from station 75.
