CYPRESS, TX - A somber sight in Cypress as family and friends gather at the Chevron station where Deputy Darren Goforth took his last breath. Gunned down in cold blood, all because he wore a uniform.

Crossbridge Christian Church members took to the streets for a 10-hour, 20-mile prayer walk. Showing solidarity with the family in this time of crisis. More and more, Houstonians gather at gas pump 8 with mementos and tokens grow, letting everyone know just how much Deputy Goforth meant to this community.

So far over $90,000 have been raised through this gas station memorial alone, with a plea for corporate assistance to match the funds helping the fallen hero's family.

So much love and a message we can all stand by. Love one another. Amen.
