LYCOMING COUNTY, NJ- Back to school season means more foot traffic along streets as kids make their way to class, and thanks to a four-legged, furry-friend, crossing the street near the Jersey shore has become a special treat!

Patches, the crossing-guard canine, is a lovable 5-year-old malti-poo. For the past two years he's spent his mornings as the right hand man to his owner Brad Curtis, who helps kids cross a busy intersection.

Patches will be out patrolling streets until winter weather hits, and we think that's pretty doggone cool!
