PORT ST. LUCIE, FL - We're not experts on the subject or anything, but it seems like you'd want to double-check the number you dial when you're looking for drugs. William Lamberson of Port Lucie, Florida didn't take that extra step and ended up texting the captain of the Martin County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit.

Here's how it allegedly went down: Lamberson, trying to score, starting texting "friends" with one important exception. When he arranged a coke deal, he was greeted by detectives instead of his "hookup."

Lamberson was handcuffed, booked and charged with possession. Maybe now's a good time to let our Dumbass of the Day know he had the wrong number the entire time.
