KATY, TX — Out of the church and in jail. A former Katy pastor has been arrested for possession and promoting child pornography.

Timothy Douglas, 49,  turned himself in Thursday after police started investigating him a year ago.

Investigators say dozens of computers, phones, and hard drives were taken from his Fort Bend County home.

On them both pictures and videos showing boys and girls, some as young as five, engaging in various sex acts.

Investigators say Douglas was not only downloading those images, but also sharing them online.

Until eight months ago Douglas was a pastor at the Creekside Community church in Katy.

He remains in the Fort Bend County jail on a $130,000 dollar bond.
