Funeral held today for 6-yr-old killed during drive-by while suspects charged

HOUSTON, TX -- The funeral of the 6-yr-old boy killed in a drive-by shooting, one week ago, will be held today. Meanwhile, two suspects have been arrested and charged.

Oscar Ollervides, 20 and Alexis Cuapio, 24 are charged with murder.  And charges could be filed against a third person.

Police say the two men have confessed to their roles in the murder.

They say the gunman, Cuapio fired about 15 rounds in what was supposed to be a retaliation shooting against the two older brothers who lived inside the home

Instead 6-year-old Moises Jimenez was killed and his 11-year-old brother, Manuel critically injured.

Visitation for Moises Jimenez will be held Friday at Compean Funeral Home at 2102 Broadway Street from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at 7250 Harrisburg Blvd.
