HOUSTON - It's a disorder that affects about one in 10,000 female births and chances are you've probably never heard of it.

Rett Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that is almost always seen in girls, but has been diagnosed in boys, too.

It's also why country singer Clint Black and his brother Kevin Black have made it their mission to help get the word out about the disorder and work toward finding a cure..

You can see more on the mission of the Black family by watching Clint Black's "Competing for a Cause" Concert Special Saturday at 3 p.m. on CW 39. The event benefits RettSyndrome.org.
