FORDHAM, NY- Actor Tom Hanks used his 10.4 million Twitter followers to find a girl named Lauren after the Oscar-winner had found a Fordham University student`s ID card.

So, like any good Samaritan, he took to social media with this tweet. "Lauren, I found your student ID in the park. If you still need it my office will get it to you. Signed, Hanx."

He was nice enough to cover Lauren`s last name before tweeting and his tweet was retweeted five thousand times (now over 9,000).

Lauren was found even though she`s not on Twitter. Seems one of her professor`s saw the tweet, "And I get an e-mail with a link to twitter saying, you`re famous!" she said.

Lauren has not gotten her ID back, yet, but she`s hoping a face-to-face with Tom Hanks is in her future!
