KANSAS CITY, MO – The Houston Astros were looking to extend their recent road-winning ways in Kansas City and for much of the day, it seemed like they would pull it off as they jumped off to an early 4-1 lead after Colby Rasmus hit a solo homerun. Rasmus has been on fire as he homered for a third consecutive postseason game.

Scott Kazmir was cruising leading 4-2 until the Astros experienced trouble in the sixth inning.  Kazmir was pulled and the bullpen were unable to hold the lead as the Royals scored two runs and were able to tie the game. In the seventh, the Royals would take the 5-4 lead when Ben Zobrist singled to shallow left center scoring Alcides Escobar.

The Astros were unable to muster any more offense the rest of the way as the series is now tied at one game apiece. The action now heads to the Bayou City where Dallas Keuchel will take the mound at Minute Maid Park on Sunday. Keuchel set a MLB-record by going 15-0 at home during the regular season.
