The story of Peter Pan is one of the most adapted fairytales on film, the latest is a prequel on how the young boy got to Neverland in the first place, but will this new live action, CGI riddled production excite children of all ages?

Oscar nominee Michael Shannon stars in two new films this weekend, first 99 Homes with co-star Andrew Garfield about a family being evicted from their family home. Then he stars opposite Julianne Moore in Freeheld, the true story of a detective fighting cancer and the city over pension benefits they refuse to transfer to her same sex partner after her death.

Film critic Dustin Chase reviews these films on this week’s Flix Fix.
