ATLANTA, GA - Move over, Mickey. A new amusement park is in development and it will be very different than Disney World. Instead of being set in a fairy tale, this one will be more like a dystopian future.

Lionsgate Entertainment has plans to turn 100 acres outside of Atlanta, Georgia, into a Hunger Games-themed park. After all, who wouldn't want to spend their vacation pretending like they're in an annual competition in which children kill each other?

The park's plans have gotten some flack, but studio heads say there's nothing wrong with celebrating an "empowered young woman" like Katness Everdeen.

The park still has to raise about $625 million before it starts construction, but is slated to open in 2019.
