DETROIT, MI -- A Detroit McDonald's employee sparked outrage after a video of him went viral showing him serving up a cruel trick on a homeless man.

The viral video, shot by a drive-thru customer shows the employee tricking the homeless man, Willie, into thinking he was going to give him a burger. Instead he throws water all over him.

Here's the full video. Warning graphic language is used!

People were calling for the employee to be reprimanded and fired. Well, he has been.

The owner of the McDonald's on the city's west side confirmed in a statement today that the employee was terminated.

"I am very disturbed by the inappropriate behavior of this employee," said McDonald's franchisee Wise Finley. "This type of behavior is not tolerated in my organization. I expect my employees to treat everyone with dignity and respect, and this was unacceptable. This individual no longer works for my organization."

Do you think he should have been fired? Maggie's serving up her thoughts in today's helping of The Online Dish. (Note this was recorded prior to the employee being fired).
