HOUSTON - Houston Rockets backup point guard Patrick Beverley missed Wednesday morning's shootaround because he was arrested on an open warrant for a toll road violation.

Police stopped Beverley on his way to the shootaround on a toll road that requires an E-Z tag pass. Beverley was arrested and later released after paying a fine for the Class C misdemeanor warrant and would be available to play on Wednesday night as the Rockets host the Brooklyn Nets.

The Rockets released this statement Wednesday afternoon:

Patrick Beverley missed shoot-around this morning to resolve issues related to his vehicle registration and E-Z tag pass.  Those issues have been resolved and the team considers the matter closed.  Beverley is available to play against the Nets this evening.
