DALLAS, TX - A man is accused of doing the unthinkable to his pet dog and now he's on trial for animal cruelty.

Authorities say Bradley Boley burned his puppy on a hot stove so seriously that he had to be put down. The poor pup's injuries were so severe the dog had to be euthanized.

If convicted, the former dog-owner could face up to 10 years in prison.
