HOUSTON – A Harris County Deputy was involved in a crash after a driver led him on a high-speed chase in northeast Harris County.

It happened Thursday around 1 a.m. off Miller-Wilson and Clara when the deputy tried to pull a car over for speeding along FM 2100 and Highway 290.

Instead, the driver led the deputy on a chase.

The suspect lost control of his car and ended up crashing into a field. The deputy was unable to stop in time, so he crashed into a ditch.

Both were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The car that the suspect was driving was stolen.
