HOUSTON – An alleged robbery took an unexpected turn after a suspect was shot by one of his victims in the Washington Corridor.

It happened around 2:20 a.m. off Washington and Jackson Hill.

Police say a group of males followed several club workers to their car after their shift and tried to rob them in the parking lot.

One of the suspects had a fake gun, but apparently one of the victims had a real gun in his car and used it to shoot at least one of the robbers.

The suspect was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Another suspect may have been shot, but he took off.
