SAN BERNARDINO, CA -- Three days of scouring a San Bernardino lake turned up nothing.

California crews had been hunting for evidence that may have been dumped by Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, the shooters who killed 14 people earlier this month. If it seems like a dead end, especially in the search for the pairs' missing hard drive, perhaps it's more of a detour. Now investigators will hook up with internet providers to try to get the duo's data from there. And lord knows they did some damage online.

The New York Times is reporting that Malik's social media posts showed her to be openly and violently jihadist, even before immigrating to the U.S. That said, she still passed three background checks to get a visa into the country. Apparently immigration officials don't usually look into social media. President Obama has ordered a full review of the visa program.
