Fear in America: Teacher asks young Muslim girl if she’s carrying a bomb

ATLANTA, GA -  As fear of Islamic terrorism spreads across America, a middle school is apologizing after a teacher asked her Muslim student if she was carrying a bomb in her backpack.

Parents call it an outrage.

"It's prejudice," said Sharon Cummings.

Carmela Brown said, "I don't think that they should have asked her that because of her religion. I don't think that was fair."

Briona Henley agrees, "The teachers should treat her with respect, like how we treat others, with respect, instead of discriminating how she is or where she comes from. I think that's just wrong."
