HOUSTON, TX - The University of Houston Cougars headed off to the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Saturday afternoon.  After finishing up a morning practice, the football team packed up and flew to Atlanta.

The Cougars are ranked fourteenth in the AP Poll and will face ninth ranked Florida State on New Year's Eve.

Tom Herman's team is 12-1 on the season.

"Coach hasn't missed any bars, we haven't missed any steps in terms of practicing for this game, just like it's a normal game," offensive lineman Alex Cooper said. "In all actuality, it's the biggest game we've ever played and have played in a while at this institution."

According to multiple reports, Florida State quarterback Everett Golson will not play in the bowl game for personal reasons.
