You're phone bill gotcha down? If you're a Sprint or Verizon customer, you could be owed a refund, but you have to act fast.

You have until December 31 to get your share of a 158-million dollar federal settlement.

Both wireless service providers are refunding current and former customers who paid for "crammed" text messages since July 1, 2010.

Yeah, you might know a thing or two about cramming. It's when charges show up on your bill that you probably didn't authorize, like horoscopes and sports scores.

As part of the settlement, both companies must now get your permission before charging for these texts. If you haven't made your claim, time's running out, so go online to file a request to get your money. Verizon and Sprint both have online claim forms.
