LEE COUNTY, FL – What started off as a holiday cruise for Matt Davis and his family, turned into something they won’t forget.

Davis and his wife Susan were on their way to dinner on the tenth floor of the Carnival Ecstasy when they saw this horrifying scene: an elevator dripping in human blood.

They said it sounded like a rainstorm, and they could smell the blood.

“To look and see the elevator with just blood coming down like a sheet, and not stopping. It was a real-life scene of ‘The Shining,’” Davis said.

Apparently an electrician was working behind the elevator when it came down on him. He later died.

“A crew member, or somebody, was inside behind that wall when the elevator came down,” said Davis. “I don’t know what happened in there, but something terrifying happened.”

Davis also said a passenger was in the elevator at the time. He ran out, covered with blood, truly turning this cruise into the agony and the Ecstasy.
