CYPRESS, TEXAS - A 4-year-old boy from Cypress, Texas is fighting for his life after getting shot in the head around midnight. "It's very sad...very sad," says neighbor Sylvia Chandler.

Sheriff's deputies believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. No one knows how the child managed to get his small hands on a gun, which lead to such devastating results.

Life Flight transported him to Memorial Hermann Medical Center after deputies found the boy breathing, but unresponsive.

The victim's grandparent's are cooperating with investigators who will present the findings to a grand jury.

While the gun debate rages on nationwide, no one can argue this is a tragic example of one gun falling into the wrong two hands.
