HOUSTON - Harris County authorities are searching for two attempted robbery suspects in northwest Houston.

Officials say around 10 p.m. Tuesday, a deputy was patrolling a Valero gas station off 43rd and Rosslyn when two masked men entered through the front door armed with guns.

The deputy pulled out his weapon and that's when officials say the suspects pointed their weapons at the deputy.

The deputy fired at the suspects.

Both suspects got away.
