On this Day in Music history in 1962, folk music would never be the Peter, Paul and Mary are signed by Warner Brothers.

In 1972, Smokey Robinson leaves The Miracles. In 2009, Kelly Clarkson makes a huge jump on the charts when her single "My Life Would Suck Without You" leaps 96 spots up the charts to grab number one.
