WASHINGTON, D.C. - In the latest evidence that old people have taken over Facebook, Vice President Joe Biden became the first sitting V.P. to have a Facebook page.

Coinciding with today being world cancer day, Biden’s first video post to Facebook invited folks to ask questions about the moonshot initiative, of which President Obama put him in charge.

And the questions poured in! Over 1500 questions and comments were posted, and while Biden couldn`t get to them all, he got to a few very carefully worded responses.

Expecting open and candid conversations with any politician over social media might be asking a bit too much. But for what it`s worth, after 12 years of Facebook, it`s about time someone gave it a try.
