Three injured in triple shooting in W. Houston

HOUSTON – Three people are injured after a triple shooting in west Houston.

Around 8 p.m., police responded to a shooting at the Westchase Grand apartments off Richmond Avenue and Walnut Bend and found that one man had been shot in the back.

He was taken to Ben Taub in stable condition.

Shortly after, deputies received another shooting call from the Kingwood Medical Center off North Sam Houston Parkway and Wilson Street.

When they arrived, they found that two men had been shot and had managed to drive themselves to the small medical center.

According to police, the two men went to the Westchase Grand apartments to allegedly purchase jewelry and had $8,000 in cash on them.


They were reportedly robbed at gunpoint.

Both were taken to Memorial Hermann, one in serious condition.
