GHANA, WEST AFRICA – When we think of genies, we probably think of evil spirits that live in magic lanterns.

But a Muslim exorcist says beautiful women are the ones evil spirits are more likely to possess.

The West African nation of Ghana is where Mallam Luthfi Jamal-Baba is an imam and exorcist. He says spirits, or jinns, can inhabit men, but he claims women are the most likely victims.

He doesn’t really say why, but he says one of the best ways to keep from being a host to evil spirits is to not wear revealing clothes and to take a bath regularly.

But the best way is to pray regularly, especially when bathing.

Apparently it doesn’t matter if you’re a Muslim or a Christian or whatever, because he says demon possession is found in many of the world’s cultures and religions.

Of course, not every beautiful woman who speaks in a language nobody can understand is possessed, but that would explain a lot of things, now wouldn’t it?
