Prairie View A&M’s Marching Storm win 2015 Band of the Year

PRARIE VIEW, TX - Can you feel the groove in the air? There`s a victory march happening at Prairie View A&M University. The P.V. marching band, aka Marching Storm recently received top honors from the Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

They voted the 270-member core as band of the year for 2015. The storm beat out bands like Southern, TSU, FAMU and Grambling State for the number one spot. And band members say they couldn`t have done it with out Band Director, Dr. Tim Zackery, leading the way.

Right now, the band is out looking for new members, so if you want to be the best. Just follow the beat of the first place drum.
