Houston astronaut Scott Kelly returns home after nearly a year in space

HOUSTON — Houston we have a Scott Kelly. Yes after nearly a year in space the Houston astronaut is heading back down to earth today.

What a sweet homecoming after spending 340 days at the international space station a record for an American. Kelly will land in Kazakhstan later tonight.

He’ll then fly to Houston tomorrow where he’ll be welcomed by his twin brother, fellow astronaut Mark Kelly along with other family and friends.
