Arson investigators examining massive vacant house fire that melted power lines

MONTROSE -- In the midst of the storm, firefighters battle a suspicious vacant house fire in Montrose.

A house off of West Drew, where homeless people are known to occupy caught on fire around midnight.

Before crews arrived, a passerby went door to door making sure neighbors got out of their homes safely before fierce winds made the flames spread.

The flames became so intense they melted the surrounding power lines.

No injuries were reported.
