Last weekend at the rodeo

Buffalo Bayou Canoe and Kayak Trails

Or head over to Buffalo Bayou for the perfect canoeing and kayaking. Yes canoeing and kayaking right here in the city of Houston. The 52-mile slow-moving waterway has become a destination for outdoor recreation near downtown Houston. Hit the trail visit all the destinations and activities along the way.

FOTOFEST

Go experience the cultural images of Fotofest. The feature “Changing Circumstances,” is looking at the future of the planet. It features artworks and essays from 34 leading artist on humanity`s effect on the environment from climate change to waste. The biennial event runs from now until April 24th at Winter Street Studios. The best part is it’s free.

Houston Rockets Blacktop Battle

Do you have game? Or just want to see some street ball? The Houston Rockets team up with ZTE for the 2016 Blacktop Battle. Houston`s biggest 3-on-3 basketball tournament! The games take place this Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm. That’s when the streets outlining the Toyota Center will turn into a 3-on-3 streetball haven.
