A deadly fire burns down a apartment complex in North Houston

A apartment complex in North Houston caught on fire around 4 AM this morning.

When firefighters arrived to the Royale De Ville apartments on Richcrest drive they quickly pulled a 2nd alarm and had several agency provide assistance.

Fire officials say at least one person has died.

16 out of 24 units were burned down and the other units have smoke and water damage.

Investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire.
