COLESVILLE, NY - What do you do when you're a sleepy Uber driver and you just need a little shut-eye?

If you're Uber driver Corey Robinson from Philadelphia hauling a guy 275 miles to upstate New York, you ask your passenger to take the wheel while you grab a quick nap.

Yep, that's what happened on the five-hour drive according to New York State Police.

Authorities say when Robinson later woke up, his passenger, 20-year-old Juan Carlos, was speeding down the interstate with New York State Troopers on his tail.

Things got very messy when Robinson demanded that Carlos pull over, but the Uber-passenger-turned speed demon refused.

Police later discovered the Uber car crashed into a guardrail and took both men into custody.

Carlos was charged with multiple violations including "driving without a license."

While Robinson wasn't charged, Uber has suspended him, so he won't be picking up any more passengers.

Just goes to show, if you snooze, you lose!
