HOUSTON, Tx- While some Houston residents were stuck in for the day, high and dry, drivers were left soaked and stranded.  Whether you had a car or truck, there were no exceptions when it came to size.  An 18-wheeler driver was found dead after drowning near the Hardy Toll Road.

"Apparently, the individual realized when his vehicle started to float, he opened the door and said 'I can't swim' -  to witnesses, and then proceeded to shut his door, and subsequently his vehicle went in underwater.  There were people trying to get him out.  They tried to cut holes in the side of his sleeper cabin, but it was to no avail.  He actually drowned," said Harris County Constable Precinct 1, Alan Rosen.
