HOUSTON - Where are the most scrumptious, mouthwatering fajitas in H-town?
“My fajitas are the best in town," says Terry Flores, owner of the Red Ox Bar and Grill, in Near Northside, just north of the Heights.
Flores says her fajitas are made using only the freshest of ingredients, and are a “cut” above the rest because, “We prepare them here daily. Instead of going to a butcher, we actually cut ‘em and trim them here, and it’s a good quality of meat we use.”
The magic is also in the marinade, "We marinate them in olive oil, garlic we also have a special sauce that we use to make them savory and delicious" explains Flores.
“The food here is to die for. It’s so fresh it’s always warm, it’s the perfect temperature” says customer Cindy Puryear. Fellow diner, Dianne Alvarez agrees, “Her Mexican dishes are so awesome. She cooks everything here and the flavors are just so fresh!”
Served with homemade tortillas, these finger-lickin’ fajitas will titillate your taste buds, and knock your socks off. Add some fresh guacamole or homemade salsa (made with roasted tomatoes) and you’ll feel like you’ve died and gone to Heaven.
